    Cambridge University Press NUALS, Library subscribes a bunch of 234 e-Books on law and allied subjects. The books have been subscribed on a perpetual basis. These books can be accessed with the IP Ranges of the University.

  • Bloomsbury Collections The Library of NUALS subscribes 152 e-Books related to law and allied subjects published by Hart Publication. The books have been subscribed on a perpetual basis. These books can be accessed with the IP Ranges of the University.

  • Oxford E-Books have also been included in the list of subscribed e-Books of the NUALS. A set of 26 e-Books published by Oxford University Press under Oxford Scholarship Online in perpetual mode over the law and allied subjects.

  • The world's unrivalled and indispensable online resource for international arbitration research. The Library of NUALS subscribes 386 e-Books related to International Arbitration and allied subjects published by Wolter Kluwer. These books can be accessed with the IP Ranges of the University.

It also provides Books, Journals and News related to international arbitration. The database is accessible within the IP Ranges.

  • SCC Online is a product of Eastern Book Company primarily providing Supreme Court of India Cases publishing in SCC Weekly. SCC Online is known as the most authentic source for SC Judgments due to its case notes and effective search. Other than cases, SCC Online coverage includes Articles published in SCC and Practical Lawyers, Central and few coverages of States Legislation, Law Commission of India Reports and Selective Judgement of High Courts of Indian States. It is IP Based database and accessible within the secured IP Ranges. Westlaw Collection includes 1600+ Academic Journals; the Legislation of Australia, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom & the United States of America.

  • Resources through e-ShodhSindhu (eSS)

  • The Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), a sponsored institution of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), is a public-funded, non-commercial research and development institution in social science. ISID was set up as an independent organisation to carry on the work initiated by the Corporate Study Group (CSG), at the Indian Institute of Public Administration, during the early ‘eighties. In addition, contemporary journal collections of WeL include scholarly journals and academic articles from every academic field.

  • South Asia Archive (SAA): South Asia Archive contains more than 4.5 million pages spanning the period of 18th and mid-20th century from documents across the Indian subcontinent, including India, Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

Guidelines for Fair Use of e-Resources at NUALS: Usage Policy

  • Electronic resources such as e-journals, e-databases, e-books made available by the University Library, NUALS are for educational use.
  • These resources can be searched, browsed and material may be downloaded and printed as single copies of articles as is done in the case of printed library material. Downloading or printing of a complete book or an entire issue or a volume of one or more journals (called systematic downloading) is strictly prohibited.
  • Use of robots, spiders or intelligent agents to access, search and systematically download from these resources is also prohibited.
  • Please be aware that systematic downloading will cause the publisher to block to the entire community of users @ NUALS from accessing these resources.
  • The University Library subscribes E-Resources directly through the publishers and eSS Consortium. The terms and conditions for using these resources are spelled out in electronic resource license agreements with each publisher. It is the responsibility of individual users to ensure that the use of electronic resources does not breach the terms and conditions specified in the license agreements. Licenses vary from publisher to publisher; however, the general principles are as follows

Breaches of the license agreement with publishers could result in the suspension of access to the resources for the member institutions.
